Lecturer of Media Writing and Production
Effective August 15, 2012.

This is a non-tenure track, nine-month appointment, with the opportunity for multi-year contract(s). The salary is competitive and rank and title are subject to negotiation. Appointee will serve as director of the Media Writing & Production (MWP) Program housed within the Composition and Music Theory department.

Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in music recording/production, music composition for diverse media applications including film scoring, advertising and video games, and serve as director of the Media Writing & Production (MWP) Program.

Candidate must have either terminal degree in required area or commensurate professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate a balance between successful collegiate-level teaching experience and creative activity as composers/producers with a variety of diverse works and productions to their credit. The faculty member will be expected to remain engaged in creative activities related to his or her area(s) of expertise.
