Recording Industry – Audio Production
Tenure Track position in the Department of Recording Industry, Audio Production concentration. Teach courses in audio theory, live sound, reinforcement, sound system optimization, and studio recording. It is also expected that the candidate will conduct research and/or creative activities in their area of specialization. Involves a full time commitment to teaching. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to accomplish group goals is a necessity. The University and the department are committed to racial, ethnic, and gender diversity. Position starts August 1, 2012. Master's in related field expected by appointment date. Experience teaching college-level courses in audio production preferred. Significant experience in large-scale sound system design, implementation and operation preferred.
