Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, Entertainment Industry – This position will begin in August 2010, to meet a growing student demand in the Department of Entertainment Industry. Area of specialization is teaching recording and entertainment technology classes and coordinating related labs. A doctorate or other appropriate terminal degree in a related area is required for tenure track appointment; ABD considered for temporary appointment at instructor rank, pending completion of the doctorate. The successful candidate is expected to have a full-time commitment to teaching, scholarship and service; knowledge of Pro Tools and other software, and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to accomplish group goals.
