Albright College, a dynamic liberal arts college in Reading, PA, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Music with a focus on Music Technology and Composition; the position begins in August 2018. We seek a collaborative colleague who aims to contribute to the ongoing creative and intellectual development of our Music Industry Studies students. A DMA or Ph.D. in Music, Music Technology, or Composition is required (ABD will be considered), along with evidence of quality teaching at the undergraduate level. Teaching load is six undergraduate courses per year. The position also carries an expectation of departmental and college committee service, academic advising/mentoring, the continued pursuit of professional scholarship, and the creative participation in our annual performing arts season.
