
FROST SCHOOL ANNOUNCES
NEW PROGRAM IN ARTS PRESENTING
Frost School
of Music is pleased to announce a new Master of Music program
in Arts Presenting. It is a program for any individual
interested
in the live performance industry.
The program, which is another first for the Frost School
of Music, focuses on the design, contracting, marketing,
producing and presenting of an arts event, especially music
festivals. The only educational background required for entry
into this degree program is that you have an earned Bachelors
degree in any field.
Practicums in the planning and production of an arts presentation
are embedded in the courses. They are followed by a capstone
internship with a major arts presenting organization anywhere
in the world.
The first class to be accepted into this new program will
be admitted for the Fall 2009 Semester. Applications will
be accepted through March 31, 2009. Enrollment is limited.
