Today’s music business professionals must have a ready arsenal of diversified skills in order to survive in this industry. To endure in the music business requires being open to new ideas and emerging business opportunities, whether they exist in our hometown or halfway across the world. We must be willing and able to work on a global scale since today’s artists and music genres are no longer constrained by national borders. The thematic thread that unites these ideas is this year’s conference theme: “Crossing Boundaries.” Our goal at this conference is to inspire our attendees to embrace change as both necessary and valuable for the future of the music and entertainment industry and its practitioners.
