NOTICE OF VACANCY
Faculty Position in Music Business/Management
Berklee College of Music


The Music Business/Management Department within the Professional Education Division is now accepting applications for a full-time faculty position. Duties will include: teaching traditional business courses such as management, accounting, business leadership and ethics, business communications, and others assigned by the Chair; developing new courses that focus on entrepreneurship and e-commerce; advising students in their academic progress and application of course substance, and in matters related to curriculum and degree requirements; engaging in activities related to college service and professional development; participating in department meetings and other department-sponsored events; maintaining and cultivating new relationships with the music industry; and working with the department in its ongoing review, revision, and development of the MB/M program and curriculum.

Candidates should possess high-level academic and professional credentials, including: advanced degree(s) in disciplines that include the arts, business, or communications; college-level classroom teaching experience, preferably in a music business/industry program; skill and comfort with computer business applications and online information/communication systems; and excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates with professional experience in the music industry will be given preference.
