FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

Welcome to the seventh issue of the MEIEA Ezine! This issue contains several helpful articles on music industry education, all written in an easy to read style you will find useful.

As you may have noticed, I have changed the format of the ezine from an Adobe PDF format to HTML. It is my hope that this format change will be more user friendly and accessable to MEIEA members. We plan to publish this new format of the ezine four times a year starting with the 2006-2007 school year. Hopefully, after I will have time to experiment with Dreamweaver this summer and we can vamp up the looks of this new ezine format even more!

I wish to thank my predecessor Jeff Snyder for all his hard work in setting up the format for the ezine and finding contributers. This has made my new job as ezine editor much easier.

As a techie, I would also like to encourage the submission of more recording and music technology related articles to the Ezine.

I welcome your comments, suggestions, and ideas!
