MIKE McCREADY, CEO OF PLATINUM BLUE MUSIC INTELIGENCE |
| THE CEO OF PLATINUM BLUE discusses his company’s Music Xray™ service. This revolutionary approach helps accurately predict the success of hit songs using the underlying mathematical patterns in music. The analysis provides feedback to producers about which changes are necessary in order to increase a song’s hit potential. Labels gain valuable insight that improves marketing by capitalizing on similarities among a song and previous hits. This helps labels feel more confident when promoting “risky” or innovative sounding music by identifying a market for innovative music and how to reach it. On the demand side, the technology identifies the music a person is most likely to enjoy (music search, recommendation and discovery) from the over 10 million legally available recordings. This is the next wave of the digital revolution – filtering through the vast number of choices to find the content that you’re most likely to enjoy. |
